Welcome to the Morristown After School Program!
Programs at MASP are for children 5 to 12 years of age from Morrisville, Hyde Park, Wolcott, and Elmore. We offer a variety of fun and enriching activities in a friendly and supportive environment. MASP serves about 25% of the school's population providing dependable, high quality child-care programs for after school, during school vacations, and throughout the summer. MASP is a 4 STAR Program, with the Vermont Step Ahead Recognition Program through the Department of Children and Families.
MASP is broken into two age groups, Kindergarten and First Grade and Second through Sixth, this allows each group to create and engage in more age appropriate activities while creating an environment that provides a better one on one experience. Children in Kindergarten and First Grade attend MASP at the Clubhouse with is offsite .5 miles from MES. Children are transported to the Clubhouse daily by school bus. Two Clubhouse teachers ride the bus daily with the chidlren. Children in Second Grade can choose which program they wish to attend during the school year. Children in Third through Sixth attend MASP at MES.
MASP is a separate organization from the Morristown Elementary School. MASP and MES have a cooperative relationship whereby MASP uses school spaces and some equipment in order to care for the children of the Morristown Community. MASP follows regulations set by the State of Vermont Child Care Services Division, and is overseen by its own Board of Directors. Please feel free to call our office with any questions, suggestions or concerns.
